Damselfly Trio (Basel based Lindsay Buffington, harp; Liz Pearse, soprano; Chelsea Czuchra, flutes) presented their Little Songbook Project in Northern Ireland and Ireland in October 2018. These concertsat Queen’s University Belfast and  The Portico of Ards Newtownards featured “Buaine na Gaoithe”, a new work by composer Ryan Molloy. The work explored five of poet Martin Dyar’s bespoke texts, which examine cyclical themes of landscape, nature, maternity, light, life, death, and the voice. Damselfly presented Buaine na Gaoithe alongside contemporary chamber works by Ursula Mamlok, George Crumb, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, and others.
